Buenos Aires, My Only Love
UBA Short Film Competition
Oscar Renou, a 76-year-old from Buenos Aires, recalls his childhood home, while architect and activist Natalia Kerbabian illustrates it for the project Ilustro para no olvidar ("I illustrate so as not to forget"). Through this act of memory, the documentary rescues the identity that fades with the demolition of iconic architecture in the City of Buenos Aires.
This film will be screened alongside Bajo tierra, Chef, -34.527396 ; -58.460862, Sumergidos and Quiricocho.
Patricia Fernández Henchley
Patricia Fernández Henchley is an Audiovisual Design student at FADU-UBA. She directed and co-wrote the fiction short film Sola (2022). Buenos Aires, My Only Love is her first documentary.
