The Face Thief
UBA Short Film Competition
Eva, a woman without a mouth, is stalked at night by the shadow of a monster who stole her voice. Tired of its presence, she chases it into a new universe, where the remains of stolen faces are hidden. Eva must confront the creature and try to reclaim her voice.
This film will be screened alongside A la mujer que fui, Amor 77, Las escondidas, Un beso, chau y Cuatro tipos and una sirena esperando que algo se prenda fuego.
Daiana Lo Presti
Daiana Lo Presti studied Audiovisual Design (FADU-UBA). She is a director and worked as editor in the short film El barrilete del abuelo Nacho (2023).
Florencia González
Florencia González studied Audiovisual Design (FADU-UBA). She directed the short film Chocoviaje (2023) and edited A la cuenta de tres (2021), which was screened at the Rojo Sangre Festival.
