Falling Into Place
International Feature Film Competition
After meeting by chance in a dreary pub, Kira and Ian wander the streets of Scotland. Both yearn for something they can't quite understand and dream of projects that are unlikely to ever take shape. They are two young people on the run from a hostile world and tumultuous relationships, becoming each other's refuge through a bond as passionate as it is impulsive. However, to reduce German actress Aylin Tezel's directorial and screenwriting debut to the typical romantic comedy would be a mistake. Her debut feature delves into the ephemerality of modern times and, above all, the insecurities of an entire generation.
