"I was a witness," José Luis García could say, as he was there at the final farewell of Sumo and Luca Prodan at Obras. He could also say that his camera was loaded with the decisive intention to know where to look and what to listen to, in order to understand the before, during, and after of a historic moment. His lens captured the brilliance, charisma, and incandescence of Sumo, the legendary band that embodied the spirit of 80s rock in Argentina. This is a film that had to be made—because that footage needed to take cinematic form, to once again prove that every one of Luca's gestures, words, and movements were infused with poetry and punk energy, still shining with a unique and unrepeatable lucidity and light.
