La presencia de lo ausente
The Presence of Absence
Ibero-American Short Film Competition
Shot during a 12-day workshop in the Peruvian Amazon under the tutelage of Apichatpong Weerasethakul, The Presence of Absence begins as a farewell letter but evolves into an exploration of memory, time, trauma, and absence. The encounter with humidity, mosquitoes, the sound of a walkie-talkie, and two topographers triggers memories and invites contemplation.
This film will be screened alongside Interludio, Río Blanco, las imágenes cristal de nuestra ciudad, La entrevista final, Tiranosaurio and Reyes secretos.
